Cake and dessert station

Wedding cakes are so fun. I love officiating a wedding and then go into the venue and look at the way the couples decorate for their big day. Some people are all about the flowers or the center pieces and then there are always the CAKES! Below are some of my favorite wedding cakes from both officiated wedding and non officiated wedding also I will attach the links on where to find them.

#1 My favorite cake thus far has been Rachel and Andrews homemade multi tiered cake. This cake was made by the couple including the figures on the top. The couple chose not to cut into this cake but to use it more as a focal point of their dessert bar. The dessert bar was made up of macaroons and mini single serve pies. Unfortunately there is not way to get this cake. The couple does not offer cake services but it is by far the best cake I have seen! Simple, Rustic, Creative and Fun! If you like this cake style i’m sure snapping a photo of it to show your baker would make the couple happy and honored.

#2 How beautiful and tall is this cake? I am in love with how rough the frosting was put on the layers and how there is a great pop of color on each tier. This cake is just bursting with the, come get a slice feel. You can find this cake at: MasterPieces Cake Art located in Stoddard, NH 03464. Image result for NH based wedding cakes

#3 This small and simple cake has a lot to say! The small two tier cake with its uneven strokes in the frosting make this cake elegant and romantic all in one. The simple amount of flowers also make a great addition instead of the classic cake topper. If you like this cake and are having a larger guest list think about making your “cutting cake” like this and have sheet cakes out back for the venue to cut and serve for you. Your guests will not know the difference. You can find this cake at Frederick’s Pastry located in Amherst NH and Bedford NH.
